Pony-life-line

I could just say: "That's how life goes." and I would have said everything about this picture, right?

But I had more thoughts:

We all are getting older and probably most ponies are doing the same except Luna and Celestia. Oh and Discord doesn't "age" (or die) too... right? By thinking about that I remember Celestia seems to be immortal but Twilight isn't. That fact has much sadness in it because: Isn't Twilight a bit like a daughter for Celestia? But Celestia can't die. That would mean Celestia has to watch her own "daughter" growing older and older till she dies... There you can see what a big liability "physically immortality" would be. I actually think of "physically immortality" as the most horrible nightmare ever. That's why I still remember movies like "Highlander" and "Interview with a vampire". The fact that those main characters are unable to die but have to see all others who they ever loved die moves my heart till today. You know what? (And please don't get me wrong) I think it's good that "physically immortality" is just a fantasy and not real.

BTW: I do hope I will get used to the fact that I will be an old man someday too. Sometimes I'm a bit afraid because I don't know if I will still get any pension and if I will be healthy enough to enjoy this free time as a senior? Will I be completely lonely when I'm very old? Stuff like that.

Those are the things which I had in my mind while I worked on this. Actually this picture reminds me aging and death are a natural part of life and we all are aging. So I know for sure: At least and thankfully I'm not alone XD
