Maybe it's just me. But I had the feeling that the "Cupcakes" version of Rainbow Dash was less "deep". She was just reduced to the part of the victim and she didn't really use the last weapon which was left for her: Her voice! I always wondered why she didn't try it longer to speak with Pinkie and to change her mind? Rainbow Dash does is a fighter and she does look sometimes really intelligent to me. She would do more in this situation then just crying and begging. That's why Rainbow Dash talks so much here in my version of the story. She decided to use her last weapon. Not to fight Pinkie but to remind her to some important things.

Rainbow Dash has saved Pinkie in more ways. She saved her from sadness. It was Rainbow Dash's sonic rainboom which brought light and colour into Pinkie Pie's monotone life when she was a filly and it was also Rainbow Dash which made Pinkie Pie's cutie mark appear on this way. And in "Party of one" where Pinkie falls into depression and her "Pinkamena-state" it is also Rainbow Dash which helps Pinkie first. It is Rainbow Dash which drags Pinkie to her own birthday party. So she saved her again. And then inside "Wonderbolt Academy" Rainbow Dash has SAVED PINKIE PIE'S LIFE !!! But of course that wouldn't matter for Pinkie in a situation like in "Cupcakes" because she is just a maniac right? Why does she make friends at all? Probably just to catch them easier as soon as their numbers came up................... Sorry... I have no words for this. Pinkie Pie would still remember and care what a friend like Rainbow Dash has done for her. That's the point. And that is also the point here on this page.

BTW: There are people which think and believe that "Cupcakes Pinkie Pie" and "Pinkamena" are identically. Trust me: Pinkie Pie in her Pinkamena-state is still much too nice to come close to that what "Cupcakes Pinkie Pie" is. I mean: Why does Pinkie Pie becomes like she is in "Party of one"? What is her reason? The reason is: THAT SHE IS AFRAID TO LOOSE HER FRIENDS! "Cupcakes Pinkie Pie" isn't afraid to loose any one. She just cares about no one. And I mean: NO ONE and even if Apple Bloom does is her apprentice (like in the original ending of "Cupcakes") you can be sure that also Apple Bloom has a number. "Cupcakes Pinkie Pie" cares about no one. Pinkie Pie (even if she is in her depressed mood where she has her so called "Pinkamena" style) does care about others. Do you see the main difference?
